I’m excited to announce that I’m running for the New York State Assembly from District 23 in Queens. We need new ideas and new voices in Albany. Even more, we need legislators who will stand up to the big government, tax-and-spend agenda of Andrew Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio.

As a budget director for a member of the New York City Council I understand the budget process–I’m a “numbers guy.” I’ve seen first hand the redundancies and waste in government. That’s why I support property tax reform, reductions in wasteful spending and elimination of unfair charges, such as the toll over the Cross Bay Bridge. Controlling runaway spending is also vital to protecting the State’s pension system, which is a commitment we owe to our dedicated state and city employees. I also support term limits for the Governor and members of the State Legislature–public office should be a temporary service, not an exclusive club.

These are just a few of the pressing issues that face our great State. The people of southern Queens deserve an independent voice who will not be a rubber stamp for the Cuomo-de Blasio agenda.
