Dwayne Moore

My name is Dwayne Moore, I am a Republican County Committee member in the 29th Assembly District and I’m running for New York State Assembly. I am a Jamaica, Queens native who was raised in a bipartisan household. My father is a small business owner and my mother is a union leader. During my youth, I dedicated countless hours to community service as an NYPD Explorer, gaining valuable insights into civic engagement. Concurrently, I served as a team leader at the M.S.72 afterschool program, tutoring elementary school children while navigating high school and college. After graduating from Stony Brook University with honors and having the opportunity to study abroad in China, I worked as an educator for over 5 years, engaging with high school and college students.

I have also traveled the world as a model, actor, and music artist. My experiences have given me a unique and worldly view of the issues of today, which includes our porous borders, weakening infrastructure, a bad economy and a lack of quality education for the next generation. My love for Queens, New York City, and America fuels my commitment to addressing the urgent issues facing my district and the nation. I will find practical solutions to make New York great again. We desperately need new leadership to lead us toward a brighter future, and that’s why I am running for New York State Assembly in the 29th District. I am also very humbled and honored to have the support and endorsement of the Queens County Republican Party in my bid for public office. The future of our state and nation are at stake and together, we can usher in positive change.
